Echo Art Fair / May 13-15 2016


Buffalo, NY––echo Art Fair,, releases its schedule of events for the weekend of the fair, May 13-15, 2016. The fair will be held at OSC Manufacturing & Equipment Services on Buffalo’s East Side and will run for two full days–Saturday, May 14 from 11 am to 7 pm, and Sunday, May 15 from 11 am to 6 pm. There is a $5 admission fee each day.  

 echo kicks off the fair on Friday, May 13th with its signature tour of private, local art collections and opening Preview Party, which will offer attendees a first look at, and opportunity to purchase, the art on display.

 The scope of echo Art Fair expands in 2016 to include Light Industry, an architecture section curated by Jordan Geiger, Associate Professor of UB’s School of Architecture and Planning.  Other programs of the weekend will include site-specific installations incorporated into the factory campus, panel discussions on regional art and art collecting from A-Z, and a post-fair art party on Saturday. Food and beverages will be provided by local vendors throughout the weekend.

echo Art Fair has also fostered partnerships for this year’s fair with a wide array of fine art organizations, which include: UB School of Architecture + Planning, UB Art Galleries, Albright-Knox Art Gallery, Burchfield Penney Art Center, Tampa Museum of Art, The Andy Warhol Museum, Castellani Art Museum, Buffalo Arts Studio, Dreamland, Sugar City, Buffalo Spree and Starlight Studio + Art Gallery.
